Requirements: Android 1.5+
Overview: Control and find your phone in the event of loss or theft. REAL INVISIBILITY!
Image

!! NEW: SMS FORWARDING, CALL NOTIFICATIONS (check out changelog!) - forgot your phone at some place? Never miss SMS and calls again !!

- Only app world-wide that is completely HIDDEN from the thieves eyes (no SMS triggers, no icons, customized app name, hidden GPS indicator and more)
- WIPES SD card data 100% reliably by filling the SD card with garbage data
- Auto-enables GPS also on non-rooted phones
- Exceptional ROOT support, Theft Aware even survives factory reset on rooted phones
- Continues working even if SIM card gets changed
- No internet connection necessary on phone as it works purely via SMS remote control
- No data transfers to or data storage on 3rd party servers
- No subscription fees

UNVEIL THE THIEFS IDENTITY
To enable communication to your phone you will register up to two notification numbers with Theft Aware (i.e. friends of yours, or your second phone). Those friends will then receive all Theft Aware messages for you. Now, if the thief changes the SIM card of the phone, Theft Aware will invisibly send the phone number of the thief to those recipient numbers.
By using the phone number of the thief you can stay in contact with your phone.
Used world-wide by thousands of happy users!
REAL INVISIBILITY
Theft Aware is the only tool world-wide which maintains COMPLETE SOFTWARE INVISIBILITY to the thief while the victim is provided with FULL ACCESS to his mobile phone per SMS.

SEND REMOTE COMMANDS TO THE PHONE
- Get the current location of your phone utilizing GPS, WiFi and network triangulation
- Get online map services links to Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps or Microsoft Bing Maps

- Activate a loud siren, customize the siren sound
- Completely wipe private data stored on your phone and SD card (including Emails, Facebook, Twitter, GMail and YouTube Accounts, contacts, SMS text messages, photos, call logs, web browser history, calendar, sync settings, ...).

The SD card will not just be wiped but will be filled with garbage data to prevent unauthorized restore of deleted data!
- Access to phone call and SMS log
- SMS forwarding and carbon copy
- Call notifications
- Backup contacts to another phone
- Backup SMS to another phone

No change name? Something like "Google Mail Services"? So that security is high even if the theft was tech savvy? TQ!

Yea, change name would be cool, something like "System Camera" or something, like it was before, can you do that or does the program ask you when you install what name should it have?

There really is no need for any custom names anymore, once you install Theft Aware and go into settings and choose your access code, and enable theft aware, it becomes hidden, and the only way to bring up theft aware again, is to go to your dial pad and dial your access code. It is similar to Lmaxi.

I noticed that Theft aware can be removed from Device Administrators and then uninstalled, Lmaxi can't, so if somebody see the name Theft Aware will remove it from there, probably that's why people want a different name not to be so obvious. Lmaxi has protection and even if not checked it auto activates when trying to deselect it from device administrators, which is cool.

Nice Release working fine on SGS, Yes previous version was uninstalled successfully after deactivate device administration. then reinstalling new version.
what i come to know is, Theft aware can be installed as system application only if we purchase it from market, because option to select to install as system appl is available on licence checking page(which i think disable in this C***k version). anyway who are not using rooted device have no difference using this or that. Who want real protection, has to pay....

Or Name Android Tool better. I make it even unable to uninstall eventhrough device administer or program manager by install into system. I dont want people to notice theft aware runnning in background through apps like task killer, advanced task killer etc...

It is superb, but so ridiculously stupid! In order to send a command you have to type your password at the SMS. So what happens if the theft changes the Simcard and places it in his old phone. He will receive the SMS normally and will find out what your password is. STUPID?

This is ridiculous, think about it, nobody wants your Sim, they just want the Phone. And can be caught easily using your Sim.
With Lmaxi u don't have this issue, cause security code is not present in the SMS.

Yeah, but Lmaxi is not as stealth as this one, Lmaxi wants you to put in the freaking code on everything you click, even turn on the phone, meaning, when you turn on the phone, the person that "stole" your phone already knows you have it, same is when you wanna go to settings...

PS: Lmaxi can be opened by calling 0001 i guess, this one can only be opened with your code, so there are some things i like here and other that i like in Lmaxi, so i cant really decide...
