I know it says 'tablet' in the app name itself. But will it work in other phones too(IMC, SGS)? The 'requirements' doesn't mention anything...

I would say that the app will work just the screen might display wrong search for phone version if that's what you need as the clue is in the title O:

I've never really considered AV software for a tablet or phone, but the sheer number of companies extending their product line to such devices gets me somehow a little curious

It asks you to create an account. Is it okay to create one or will they know its not from the store and block the app as it uses a web portal. Hope what I've said makes sense.
