This would be nice to try (last version, June 4, 2015, version 3.14.1.302) since now it allows creation of subgroups in widgets.
Not too much configurations regarding its visual but even though its getting close to 'Folder Organizer' which unbelievably now only supports Android 5.0 and up.
Another old good one on this level of app which organizes folders without the need of installing a full suite of a "launcher" is 'App Launcher+' but looks like it's lost in action.

So if anyone could update 'Glextor App Mgr & Organizer' to its latest release would be great.
