I've updated Pandora and the Patcher (see my procedure below) However, I also get the error that others are talking about... but I don't know how (or if) it affects Pandora. I thumbs-upped a song, which triggered Pandora to delete the 128kbps version and download a 192kbps version... so it seems that feature is working. I haven't tested the file, but I have no reason to believe it would be corrupt.
I haven't tried skipping several songs or anything to see if it works... but I have a Pandora One account anyway, so I don't anticipate hearing any ads.
Is anyone other than Gamer NOT getting the 3002 error? It opens two popups with the error in quick succession when I start the app and the channel list loads. The music starts playing (I have auto-start last channel turned on) regardless of whether I click OK on them or not. I really don't see how this error affects the operation of Pandora or the Patcher at all.
Also... I got the same app freeze/crash that I got with 5.7 and 5.8, as well. I force-closed Pandora the first time I opened it (to see if the 3002 error would show the next time... it did), and the first song that played got stuck on the screen. Partially through the second song, Pandora produced the "not responding" error, and I closed it. Ugh... OK... Let me install the non-Play edition now, as I've done for the last two releases... Why did I update Pandora again?
Here's the process I went through, with notes:
Installed the new version of Pandora Patcher over the old one <--- this started as a mistake, but I rolled with it.
Uninstalled Patcher
Uninstalled Pandora
Rebooted (Full, initiated from power menu)
Installed Patcher (took a long time, for some reason... maybe because the phone was still booting)
Set up preferences in xposed mod
Rebooted (Full, initiated from xposed notification)
Install Pandora from Google Play
Open immediately and sign in
