Also when posting a logcat, can you mention the time and/or last song that was playing before it froze. Last song I presume would be the last song that the notification is showing since it was reported that the notification doesnt respond nor update the track info. The logcat has lots of interesting details. I just want to make sure that the stuff I'm following is the actual cause and not just a red herring.

Same, no freeze on Kitkat 4.4.4, just 3002 error, Pandora works fine once I click through the error msg, MP3 128k download works as expected.

Sure. Just to clarify, I made sure Pandora was force closed, cleared all logs in catlog, began recording with catlog, hit home button, opened up pandora to autoplay, OK'd the 2 or 3 error messages, let a few seconds of the song play, then stopped recording in catlog by bringing notifications down and selecting it from notification menu. So overall, it was maybe a one minute period I had sent you with very little activity on my end. Hope that helped...

edit: apologies, problem was Xposed installer not having root rights.

Yes when I wrote that post. However when starting the app just now I got the error everyone is is getting. Pressed ok 2-3 times and it went away. Now listening to music, though it takes very long time for the next song to start. On WIFI, not using VPN, bypass region enagled. A song wouldn't start playing at all; skipping made the next one come on.

I have the same problem as in this post. Only the solution (create new apn settings with no proxy IP) does not work like it used to on older pandora patcher.

I have an exam tomorrow so I wont be working on this until after tomorrow. Also, I really want to focus on the apk mod for non-root users, hopefully results with that are different than with Pandora Patcher. This bug hunting is way too time consuming. I will keep trying to find a fix once all is done.

thanks gamer. I can test the non-root patch, as that's what i've been waiting for anyway

I would also be down to test the non-root version with mp3 downloading, I just updated my fiance and I's HP Touchpads to 5.1 and Xposed is a little wonky yet with CM 12.1. thank you for your continued support of this!
