Depends on the app.
Some apps have basic GP IAPs, they will "remember" the puchases and you will have premium/prime w/e.
Other apps have server sided checks of IAP, they will within minutes be back to original like you never used freedom in the first place.

Try to Stop freedom FROM IT'S MENU (not force stop). and then try to open google play. If it doesn't work, try to start and then stop freedom and open google play again.
If that doesn't work, remove data and reboot.

Freedom causes a problem where push notifications no longer work after reboot.
I was able to determine a workaround to get push notifications functioning again, but it will only stay in effect until the phone is rebooted again. At that point, you have to run the workaround proceedure again.
Workaround:
1. Freedom\Preferences\Stop
2. Exit Freedom.
3. Trigger a push alert. This is most easily done through Push Notification Tester.
4. Go back into Freedom and Start the service again.
If someone can pass this along to the author so that he can fix this, that would be great.

I would try it to see if it worked, but if not, I would just contact the developer. He might be able to add lollipop compatibility relatively easily.
However, what I'm trying first is stopping the Freedom engine generally, and only turning it on when the app is about to be used - then turning it off afterwards. So far, that hasn't caused any issues with app functionality, and it allows push notifications to work on reboot.
But let me tell you, it was a bitch tracking down the problem in order to find that this app was responsible.
