(GL)gamer765 wrote:That is actually the intended behavior, for the downloader that prompts you if you want to download it. In my internal tests with the thumbs notification enabled, pressing the thumbs up button while pandora was in the background lead to either the Pandora app crashing due to a null activity (when you bring Pandora to the background by hitting the back button until it minimizes), or the Pandora app to be spammed with download dialogs on top of each other (depending on how many times the thumbs up button was hit and if the Pandora app was minimized by pressing the home button). Beta 3 fixed it, but in the process of fixing the spam/crashes, i seem to have broken the no prompt downloader. It'll work while Pandora is the main active app on screen, but stop working when Pandora goes to the background.

Thanks for the clarification...misread somehow that you were taking about the action while in the notification drawer ;-)

Uploading patched apk right now, took a bit longer than i anticipated, but I think non-root users will like it. Finally brought the thumbs notification to the apk and thumbs download plays very nicely with it. No crashes! Spam F5 for new thread in 10-15 minutes.

Any chance the errors in my log will be fixed? The error's existence doesn't bother me as much as the fact that it repeats indefinitely, spamming the hell out of my log file. Thanks

If I have a fresh ROM loaded on my phone, Pandora will work regardless of the version I've loaded. The second I put Pandora Patcher onto the xposed framework, Pandora will never connect to the service. Are they now blocking users with Xposed framework and this patcher? Trying to find out how to fix it, as uninstalling, clearing caches, etc does nothing to fix it.

I'm content using my current Pandora 6.x and compatible Patcher version... unless this new version supports saving to external SD cards in Marshmallow.

Has this been implemented? No hurry... just didn't notice it mentioned one way or the other.

Thanks for everything!

This will probably be fixed in the next update but, if you thumbs up a song and it starts downloading then you switch to another app Pandora will crash.

Already fixed in both the patched apk and my private copy of the patcher. Still looking into those errors you have which I seem to now be getting as well.

Hey gamer I had to register to say thanks for your work. I really appreciate the time and effort you spend on the patcher.

I recently updated from KitKat (I know, old) to Marshmallow and with it finally upgraded my Pandora version to 6.9 and then just last night to 7.0 with the patcher. Everything seems to be working great but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing an issue with album art not working correctly on the lockscreen. If I unlock my phone and enter into the Pandora app and then re-lock my phone the artwork displays just fine but if I am skipping songs from the lockscreen via the notification widget the album artwork will not load. I just see the standard blank Pandora musical note image. Is anyone else experiencing this issue at all? I'm not sure if it's a bug with newer versions of Pandora or something related to the patcher. I read through this entire thread and didn't see anything related to this at all so just wanted to throw it out there. I enabled logging within Pandora and also checked my Xposed logs and never saw anything that looked too out of the ordinary.

For reference I am running a Nexus 5 on Marshmallow 6.0.1 (MMB29V, March 2016) and have Xposed installed. I'm also running system less root through SuperSU from chainfire.

I think it's a Pandora bug. I get the same thing on my Moto X running PureNexus. Are you running stock ROM or an AOSP based ROM?
