System tune-up, optimization, tweaking

I was originally on 1.3 and then got an email to beta test 1.5 and Jo matter what I would do I would get asked for an activation code. That was cool cos the code was in the email they sent, my issue was that every time I tried to activate it would forward me to their website which never had anywhere to put the code.

I emailed them about it and got a reply of uninstall and try again which just did the same, so I came here and re downloaded 1.3 and 1.4 and one after the other.

Now I don't know if this is coincidence but I got another email back saying that they had made a change to the servers to correct the problem of where it was taking me to on the website and to try click on the activation button again.

So I installed 1.5 again and looked for my code then back to open vlingo and what was funny is that it came up with what looked like normal before it asks to activate like it was checking then didn't even ask for the code so its working fine.

I don't know whether it was from me installing 1.3 to 1.4 then 1.5 that did it or if it was from their side and their servers.

Anyway give it a try guys as it sounds like you guys have been having some troubles too.

I think I found the way... what you need to do is:
1. Install 1.4
2. Use it and make sure it work
3. Restart your phone
4. Install 1.5 beta

At least above step worked for me.

Also, I still perfer 1.4 due to the widget in 1.5 beta is much more ugly.
