Anyone try this app ? does it actually do what it claims?

edit : Not working on the first device (galaxy ace II / custom rom) I tested this on - unable to read nv data error.
Either the device is not compatible or the app doesn't work - not too much info available on the web on the subject + it has been pulled from GP.

are you test it in one of the devises in the top

My son has a s4 (no root) , trying to figure out if this will unlock it . Have been searching the web and am finding conflicting pages - some say s4 is supported others don't.

how to use supersimunlocker v7.0 with correct way
1- first rooted device
2- take a backup of your EFS folder.
3-click the unlock now option and samsung galaxy phone is unlocked
4- reboot your device .
5-done................

once the backup is done acopy of your EFS folder is saving in your sdcard , if ever there is any problem on your device during unlocking , you can simply restore your backup of the EFS folder and you are done

Thanks fantap . Root is on top of the list for the s4 ( assuming I can dot with voiding the warranty - he's running lollipop on it), I'll report back if he decides that he wants to take the risk.

yep 5.0 stock and rooted. app even asked for superuser and I have busybox installed?
