Samsung Galaxy Tab E
Android 5.1.1

Caveat Emptor and the darnedest thing.

I installed Kingroot on the Tablet and it rooted. Then the built-in protection app (Smart Manager) ran and root is defeated. After a couple of tries I was able to uninstall Kingroot and ran the native "Backup and Reset" function. While the reset worked and stripped everything back to like factory new it had to go through the Recovery Mode screen, or something that looks very much like the Recovery Mode screen to do this. Tried again and still have the Recovery Mode screen.

Can anyone tell me if this is somehow an artifact of Kingroot, or is this the way the device would normally reset? If not normal, how can I get it back to normal?

Thanks
