Are the patches "hardcoded" to use LUCK or something? (I tried patching the playstore using app with package LUCK, and then uninstalling that and installing package FOOO to hide from Viber)

if write about proxy server for Google Play, yes proxy server hard coded to LUCK. Try change package name for lucky patcher 5.8.9 and reapply proxy server for google play. It must work for lp 5.8.9 and proxy from lp 5.8.9

Mate... I am stumped. Must be a combination of Marshmallow, Viber being sneaky and my lack of knowledge.

I have downloaded 5.8.9. Changed to FOOO.

The custom InApp/LVL patch for PlayStore didn't seem to work, so I have tried the Proxy and the Xposed module (from fresh install with unpatch PlayStore)

I tried to use the InApp/LVL patch on VIber with Proxy and with Xposed. Neither work. The closest seems to be using Xposed module, as when using Xposed the prices in Viber show as 0.50 or 0.46 etc... when using the proxy, it shows as $1.99.

In both cases, I now get the "Could not complete as connection to Google Play was interrupted" error message when I try to purchase the stickers.

Thanks to @ChelpuS for all the help so far... I'll just have to leave it for a while I guess
