No issues here

Just flashed a new ROM - CM 14.1/Open Gapps 7.1 on my S4

Installed LP - patch to Android...would rather do this than use an earlier patched/modded Play Store...
Rebooted

Apps installed from both sideload and GP...not a single problem

Might point out thats all without any Xposed on CM14.1

We need a fix for it

Try to disable the sig check via Xinstaller probably?

BTW, i have LP 6.3.5. When I check update, it says that I have the latest. Is this 6.3.9 still beta?

Xinstaller is not working

Something else strange after v6.3.9 if I install/update an app from sd and reboot that app will be uninstalled

you can try InstallerOpt (xposed) it has option for "Disable application verification and signature checking"

Tried but doesn't work.
Apps always fail to install.

It seems that after October's patch there are issues with lp
My friend also has October Rom and has problems so he uses older version of lp to be able to install apps

After experimenting with LP's options I found that "Test Modded Google Play Store" isn't to be used with the Xposed module.
This is very bad as we Xposed users also need a way to test.
The text "test: success" in the Xposed module options is NOT a real test.

And what are the recommended switches for Xposed users? I'm not new to LP but the descriptions aren't really helpful...

And how exactly you come to a conclusion it's displaying test success by mistake?

You should re-read my post, I nowhere used the the phrase "by mistake". To realize that the note "test: success" is not a real test aka. no indicator for a working lvl emu you simply try to start a lvl protected app. Only after setting certain necessary options it will work.
