Battery Calibration v1.2 (exclusive)
Requirements: Requirements: Android 2.1+ | Root permissions
Overview: Calibration needs to be done after flashing a new ROM, but you can calibrate any time you think your battery is miscalibrated. This program does it by removing the batterystats.bin system file.

The OS generates a new clean batterystats file soon, thus any fake information from the previous ROM is removed.
It's suggested, but not necessary, to let the phone fully discharge after calibration, then charged to 100% without break.

The app shows your actual battery status, and only allows you to start the calibration (i.e. removes the file) when it's fully charged, unless you force earlier calibration.
The voltage meter can be useful too. Full charge is around 4200mV.
There is an option to beep when 100% is reached so you don't have to closley follow the changes.

Recent changes:
- Option to beep when 100% is reached.
- Voltage meter added.
- New icon.

Latest version: 1.2 (for Android version 2.1 and higher)

hmm.. I guess this can help some people but it hardly seems much quicker than just charging to full and wiping stats via recovery and rebooting... Seems It would be even more useful if we could just somehow "nandroid" or make one update.zip backup of a clean and calibrated batterystats file from our phone and then reflash it after each new rom.. cause I flash and reflash many roms a day when developing so running the battery down each time is hardly an option so basically im stuck just having a horribly calibrated battery most of the time.. oh well tis the life of a flash-a-holic..

I think most of us will clean the /data partition before flashing new ROM. So I don't think it is needed to wipe the batterystats.bin every time we flash a new ROM since the file it located at /data/system folder. Unless somehow the file from the old ROM get restored, maybe from backup.
