ptclick85, no it is not, a system dump is a total "download" of the system files found in a ROM or device, usually a system dump is used to extract different files such as apks, scripts, etc to "understand" how the device works, also we can use a system dump to "test" the proprietary files from the phone (S2 in this case) in our models... hope this clarifies the difference of a system dump to a full rom than just a "no it is not"

P.S. you can't install system apks. You have to move them to the system folder using ADB or a file explorer like super manager. And it's a system dump not system dumb. Was that a Freudian slip referring to yourself?

Actually "the" does not show singular or plural. It's the noun that follows "the" which counts. Example, "the dog was chasing me" - one dog..."the dogs were chasing me" - more than one dog. In tookiejar's case, he asked if the .apk files from this would work on his optimus 2x. As you can see files is plural which are probably located inside the rom dump.
