Remember that if you are running any version of CM, this is a system app. You need to completely uninstall first. I use Titanium Backup. Uninstall. Reboot. Install newest version of ROM Manager. Has been working for me. (OG Droid running CM7 stable mod.)

I guess I can't flash to Amon RA and back to Clockwork without losing Pro Key. I have to uninstalled ROM Manager and reinstall to get Pro back.

starting with version 3.7 the premium key to unlock pro functionality is embedded in the original file, it is not separate.

Do I have to manually update this apk when a new version comes out? or can I update from Android Marketplace directly?

manual update, non-Market apps will not show in the Market account, so you can't auto update them, but you can try using an app called "aTrackDog", it can find updates for those apps, just look for it in the Android Market, its free

I doubt nightlies are counted as update to the stable version.

What should appear though is if you are running 7.0.0, a update to 7.0.3 should appear which in my case isnt appearing.

Any comments on that?
