Root Explorer v2.15
Requirements: Android OS 1.1 - 2.3
Overview: The ultimate file manager for root users. Access the whole of android's file system (including the elusive data folder!).

Features include SQLite database viewer, Text Editor, create and extract zip or tar/gzip files, multi-select, execute scripts, search, remount, permissions, bookmarks, send files (via email, bluetooth etc), image thumbnails, APK binary XML viewer, change file owner and group.

Recent changes:
v2.15
New change owner function. Allows owner and group to be changed for files and folders. Accessible from context menu.
Added special permissions (Set UID, Set GID, Sticky bit) to permissions dialog.
Respect "Show friendly file sizes" preference when displaying size in properties dialog.

Why they still didn't manage to show the size of a folder with all its contents is way beyond me.
Any other Android file manager does that.
I mailed them about that 2 months(!) ago...
It's on their todo list they told me.
I just mailed them again about that, let's see...

I'm glad we have sites such as Mobilism which allow us to *really* test software before making any financial decisions.

Filesonic.com link giving me corrupt ZIP.
Used download manager error: "Download Incomplete: 0 B / 1.15 MB"

Duckload successfully downloaded 225 KB file.

Why two file sizes? (even though one link not working)
:S

Perhaps it is a Filesonic server problem (link status...)

Delete files not work (file stay after deleting) on rooted Galaxy S 9000 firmware Android 2.3.3 XXJVO, like earlier version 2.14 too... :(
