Hi there,

Is this in any way related to Christian Ghisler, ie author of the well known total commander for windows / pocketpc, or a completely separate product?

Yes, I think it's from Ghisler. I found this line in the Manifest file:

c o m . g h i s l e r . a n d r o i d . T o t a l C o m m a n d e r

It can be faked though... But I'll give it a try :) Thanks for the app!

It's a leaked closed beta from Christian Ghisler's upcoming android version of Total Commander. The author warns that it still is quite unstable, and does not recommend using it for day-to-day operations.
I'll wait until the official version is out--there's a chance it will be freeware anyway, and if not, Ghisler definitely deserves my money for his brilliant work and great customer support.
