in my case, with Lineage OS 14.1 .. I had to delete /sdcard/data/com.keramidas.TatiniumBackup then reboot before installing TB to get it works.

TB has a version just for the users in the Modaco forum. As the TB author is also the forum owner, so that version has all the pro features too.

Hi. I have Android 7.1.1 (compilation number 2.4.0 - level patch android security January 5, 2018), with Magisk v16.

With this version of Titanium, when making a backup of the system data, the phone restarts me constantly. Sometimes at 15% others at 80% ..... I have tried with version 8.1.0 and it also happens. Any solution???

God damn this post saved me. I bought the official TiBu and I was having the app crash problem, went nuts to find an answer to it, but no one could answer, finally saw this post, thanks a lot for posting it mate.
