Just for those who didn't catch it in the OP: UPDATE YOUR PHONE AFTER REBOOTING.

Great post; love this app. Only one I know of that lets you back up SMS and MMS, and the market link functionality is neat too.

Pretty sure this is a root only feature. The way android works is that without root, apps don't have access to the files of other apps. This is to help protect the user. The thing is, that would be great, IF android allowed you a way to backup your settings somehow. That's one of the biggest reason's I've rooted (and won't buy a new phone unless it can be rooted).

They need to allow unrooted phones to do more, I can do stuff on a Windows Mobile phone without modifying the ROM :(

So I see this is the latest version, I've been out of the scene for a while, but came back because the version I had before wants me to update. What's the difference between Free and Pro again, other than backing up Online (Which I don't use, I don't need anyone else having access to my files)?

I am considering Android. Don't get my wrong I love my Pocket PC, but I want to try it and it's only fair I give it a chance. I will still keep my Pocket PCs...
