With this version of Titanium, when making a backup of the system data, the phone restarts me constantly. Sometimes at 15% others at 80% ..... I have tried with version 8.0.2 and it also happens. Any solution???
Hi hakamin, I'm having the same problem as you, running the Samsung Stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 on my S5.
I tried:
Downgrading Titanium Backup from version 8.1.0 to 8.0.2, then to 8.0.0, then to 7.6.1.
Changing from Magisk to SuperSU and then back to Magisk.
Changing my external SD card twice, with 2 new SD cards.
Changing from an external SD card to the internal storage card.
None of those things I tried worked.
I narrowed the problem down in my case. It seems to happen when an app is active and Titanium Backup tries to pause the app to perform a backup. When it tries to pause the app, sometimes it seems to crash the phone into rebooting.
When you go to the "Batch actions" section and you press RUN for whatever batch backup you're doing, change option box from "Pause active apps" to "Exclude active apps" and see if it makes any difference when you run your backup. If it stops your phone rebooting during backups, then my theory may be correct.
I hope this helps.
