Overview: FX: file explorer w/optional root, net (SSH,FTP,SMB,Google Drive) & media tools. FX File Explorer is a file manager / media manager with networking and cloud capabilities. FX is designed to let you quickly and easily manage all content on your phone or tablet.



FX File Explorer 5 features a Material Design UI and new ways to transfer your files between devices and computers:

The optional FX+ Add-On module enables more functionality:

* Access networked computers, including FTP, SSH FTP, WebDAV, and Windows Networking (SMB)
* Connect to cloud storage including Google Drive, Dropbox, SugarSync, Box, SkyDrive, and OwnCloud
* Manage installed applications, with support for browsing applications based on their required permissions
* Create and explore inside AES-256/AES-128 encrypted zip files

I have one ask though. I have bought solid explorer that is one of the best so far. But my google certified andro8d tv box comes with fx. The problem is that i could not make solid to write on the sd card, but fx can. Since i ca not uninstall it or install this over it, because it is like system app, can we have the key cracked..
P.S. i have wrote to the solid dev for help, but no responce. If some helps me with my solid this is also an option.

Root your device if you can and get rid of all the pre-installed blotware apps. Delete FX, too. Then download the modded FX app on this page and install it. Enjoy...

I also purchased SE but am using FX currently (regret having wasted my money). SE is pretty ( its best feature) and useless - full of bugs and zero support . FX is not as bad ( but with time will probably catch up with SE)far behind.
Both give the impression that the developers have made enough money of users that they don't have to waste time on upgrading their applications - additional sales at this point are just an added bonus. Only releases(full of bugs) both have done it the last year,or so, are to get google off their backs and not be kicked out of playstore.
Time to look for a new file explorer application by developers out to make a name for themselves.
