Overview: You can take a snapshot for android device.


May require a rooted phone.
Phone list that follows does not require the roots.

- Edit(Crop, Draw/Undo/Redo, ...).

- Choose custom save folder
- Fast start shortcut (Long tab empty home screen > Shortcuts > Select ScreenshotUX icon).

* Rooting may be needed depending model.
BEFORE PURCHASING THIS,
You can test with "Screenshot UX Trial" version.

* IF YOUR DEVICE NEEDS ROOT and NOT ROOTED(and not support preloaded capture method),
You have to initalize screenshot service with your desktop.
(There is no other way due to Android security model).
Simply, Attach your phone to your desktop, and execute desktop app(You can download Liveov website, http://goo.gl/oV7vB).

Man, when I take a screenshot using the UX notification or any actions in UX it just gives me a gray distorted picture... I patched it with LP. I'm on a Nexus 5 (Rooted) running Android OS 4.4.4

I wonder if version 1.7.7 would work?

Maybe is not compatible with your phone.

android has a built in screenshot function (power + volume down)
no need to use an app anymore

"power + volume down" doesn't work for all phones. So i use Screenshot ER Pro, which works great.

Yeah, sometimes I need to take a screenshot and draw or add text to it.
It works if I take do power + volume down then select Screenshot UX. Guess I can use it that way.

This app has been abandoned.
It also take a distorted SS at my phone.
Now I use Gravity box screenshoot action.
I can map it to almost everywhere : application launcher, double tap back key, quick setting, date & time. Then share to picture editor, such as picsart tod edit it
If u want advance features, try screenshot ultimate pro. AFAIK it is the most complete SS app in android.
