You are right, that seems to not be patched as audio files don't play continuously and donate dialogue pops up on 3rd file.

So, can anyone explain why the mod won't work with huawei devices, please? Everything was working fine up until ver 4.22.00.
This is not an app issue as everything is working fine with the one I installed from the Google store.

My device is a Huawei, Android 8.0

I think people are wrong and sure that your huawei phone is without google services, but this is not the case if android 8 and the store are working and the app from the store is working as expected.
I also use mod 4.22.00 - all cloud drives work.

The wifi sharing and also the music player both require donation to work properly. Going back to previous v4.25.00

My point exactly. I got everything up to date, Google store is working. I've tried a clean install, I've tried installing it over 4.22, I've tried rebooting before and after installing it. The result is always the same.
The 4.22 mod works, the google store app works, any mod after 4.22 does not.
If this is a device issue, why the original app works and the mod does not. I'm just curious.

your apk is almost double the file size of the one from play store
your apk contains another apk called hook.apk inside assets which is same as the original x-plore size

Please don't quote the whole first post unnecessarily, post edited.

To answer your question, this is to hook it to bypass signature verification as that's the cause of online drives issues and this fixes it.

The one I have (v4.25.00) -- the music player is not unlocked, requires donation. I got it as a mod version 3 Balatan has shared on another forum.
Could you please tell me which one do you use, where the music player is indeed unlocked?
edit: I've found it. This was the mod by Balatan without the full hook.apk.

ssh browser file not work, still need donate.
