This doesnt' seem to work Jellybean. Shows no active profiles. Non-beta version works fine on Galaxy Note II. Uninstalled and went back to last stable version.

Not working at all

Same here, loaded my profiles and tasker doesn't activate.... And it never asked for root access

Does this require you to be Rooted to use?

Worked for me on previous versions, did a quick crack so I'll have a look to see If I can find the problem. Thanks for reporting the issue!

Done some testing, Tasker works fine with new profiles, perhaps theres an issue with old profiles in the new tasker, this is not something I can resolve. This is still a beta release. (Tested on Nexus 7 and Nexus 4, no issues)

Also please make sure to activate the global Tasker slider and the profile sliders. (On/Off, will show a lightning bolt in notification area)

Has potential but it takes so long to build all the tasks and profiles that this release is not worth the trouble unless you make it compatible with existing profiles that work in the previous non-beta versions.

Couldn't get the profiles to work even after:
Uninstalling the original version, including sd folder
Making new profiles and tasks... The profiles never get triggered
Running 4.1.2 jb rooted

The profile "At home" never activated. I have tried to reset all profiles and create new one with the same "Cell near" identifier (actually I've searched for identifier within the program - and it is correct) - but it is never activated again.

1.3.x versions works OK with them. Original 4 beta 7 works OK also. As far as I remember there was issues with WiFi and other features in teh cracked 1.3.x versions until some guy cracked it properly. So I believe you should look closer to this Tasker.

Seems I've missed a package check (Thanks to member slycog for pointing this out). Currently patching beta 8 after which I'll be posting that.
