Sadly this isn't working for me, had to downgrade as it's stuck on the opening screen. A12 Note 10 Plus

If you are not comfortable using terminal in order to get the exact install error log, then you can use the "My APK" app > "install (MAI)" from the floating overflow menu, even tho it's not a bundle/splits, it should show you the install log when it fails as a notification.

I have 4.0.9177 installed, the error message is

code: 4_invalid
INSTALL_FAILED_VERSION_DOWNGRADE: Package verification result

So do I have to clean install this version instead of updating it? Or Derrin needs to fix his release? His previous updates of this app never had issues in general.

it writes "downgrade", which means that the versionCode of the one installed is higher than the one you are trying to install, also the signature might also not match, so YES, you need to do a clean install, if the signature matches, there's a way to "downgrade" it with terminal (-d) command(s), but the data will probably still be cleaned, even if you include the command for keeping, so I don't suggest even bothering.

But the installed version isn't newer, 4.0.9177 isn't newer than 4.0.9268. I guess I'll just wait until his next release and hopefully that will be correctly modded as I don't want to have to setup everything again. Clean install works on another device so that should be made clear in the release notes. But upgrading should also work as the error message would be different if it was just a different signature used to sign the APK.

You are looking at the versionName, not versionCode (build) which is different, for updating/downgrading the Build matters, maybe it's not derrin's fauld, maybe it's dev's, or you installed a Beta build, which is probably why is with higher versionCode, maybe derrin didn't mentioned in the titles that it's a "Beta" build, which will be his fault then...

I'm sorry for my late reply.

I have managed to fix the stucking at launching for android 9.0+ version and I have added links again in the OP.

I have updated links for 32bit and 64bit support apks

PS:
There may be two reasons why the app is not installed. The mod and support apk don't have the same signature or you try to install the android 5.0+ version on top of an android 9 version which generally has a higher build number.
