Call Recorder FULL v1.3.5
Requirements: Android 2.2+
Overview: This program records phone calls from the phone line on some phones.
Image

This program records phone calls from the phone line on some phones. Such recording is not usually available out-of-the-box, it needs hardware support in your OS kernel and root access. If you have an HTC device, you're in clover if you've got a custom ROM. Otherwise, please visit the xda site, there're plenty. Basically any device is supported, provided that it's based on a Qualcomm chip, say, their Snapdragons, etc. If your device has no such support, the program still records phone calls, but you need to select Android API in preferences and the recording will most likely proceed from the mike, not from the line. Please feel free to make any comments or send suggestions.

For more information please read thread on xda-developers.com - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1441643 (also trial version is available)

Is there REALLY no proper call recording app out there, that records BOTH your side & the other, and works with BT headset, without root, on Jellybean? I tested "NG call recorder" that's supposed to have all that functionality, but it messed up my BT connection. Phone said that the headset was connected ok, but when I had a call the headset was all silent. And no, the recording function didn't work either...

This one works with my Note 2. (I bought it though, not sure if that matters) You have to remember with all of these call recording apps, different phones and carriers and laws all come into play. So if it's illegal where you are to record phone calls, then I suspect it won't work. I could be wrong but I can't think of a better reason as to why they work for some and not others.

Thanx for replying. This one needs root, but I guess the main problem is the BT headset.

This version is buggy, doesn't display recordings.
There is already a new version (weirdly not with a new version number) in the PlayStore from 1st of April.
Anyone tried that?
