One big issue on my side...Whenever i search for something.. a new window appears asking for `use this folder`...

Can't install .apk files from the external USB attached. Always error:

This means that you "not completely" got access to the USB. Here they wrote what needs to be done: in Bookmarks, click the asterisk from above - they get access through the "Document Provider" in the "Add Storage" section, the very first item, give access permission, give consent ( Agree )

Thanks. I tried to Add Storage according to your instruction. But the same problem. I have to copy .apk files from the USB to the internal storage to use MiXplorer to install them

Have you given ALL permissions to the app in Android Settings for Files? Should be - ALWAYS. And remove the switch - Revoke Permissions! Try also to uninstall the app and install it again, then as per the previous instructions

And further Check the checkbox along the path: Setting > Components > Document provider (at the very bottom of the list) !
