Nope, I never use a Google account — was referring to backups created purely on the device . . . not cloud.

I can see both my backups — through X-plore and also programmatically through Swift Backup.

Why is it not even recommended to use a NAS device (like Nextcloud) here ?
I understand that we can always get banned using any paid feature without paying, but using a NAS device (lie Nextcloud, owncloud, Synology) should not increase your chance to get banned ? This is a bit a like a local backup, Google is not involved in it as far as I know.
