Overview: Easily sim unlock your Samsung Galaxy family smartphone/tablet (S, S2, S3, Tab, Tab2, Note, Note2 and variants) so you can use any other network operator. As simple as one button click, and you can change your carrier sim card !

How to use :
* be sure your rom is rooted (tutorial links included for major devices)
* click on "unlock" button
* reboot

Notes :
* If other carriers' sim cards are still refused after a successfull unlock, your phone might be "hardlocked" by your carrier and require a full unbranded rom flash (only seen on Telcel and Claro so far).
* Free download and in-app billing to unlock is used so that you only pay if your device can really be unlocked. The backup/restore feature is free and will stay free. Price displayed before order. Buy once, illimited use.
* Although I made my best for this app to be safe and it's been successfully used by more than 7000 users already, remember that there are some risks inherent to unlocking devices. I shall not be held responsible in any way if anything goes wrong using this app.
* Please note that due to a large variety of Galaxy devices, it has not been extensively tested on every available model. If it does not work on your device, please contact me so that I can add support for it.

actually its free, i unlocked my galaxy note 2 through a hidden menu, you can get to it by pressing a couple of numbers in your dialer, and a menu pops up, and you go from there really it takes 2 minutes, just people dont know about these things

Srkoza1 instead of being a smartarse why don't you share that information with everyone on here as that's what a forum is for ? Or do you just want to brag about how good you think you are ?

I take no credit for this, but in the interest of avoiding 'smart arses' as above, I put it here. Can't remember where I got it from but not my work, credit to original person.

ATTEMPT ON YOUR OWN RISK, however it has been tested on my Note 2 7100 and wifes Note 2 7105, S3 worked fine.

Note: your phone must be running at least Jelly Bean 4.1.1 otherwise some of the menu choices are not present

Just dial the following keys *#197328640#

Main Menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF > (after choosing this option, wait about 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select Back, now you are in [6] Network Lock then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ ..... wait for a minute then reboot your phone... enjoy!!! There is no confirmation on the phone that the unlock was successfull.... just reboot your phone....


To test, just insert a sim card from a different carrier/provider. If the new sim card works then your phone is now unlocked.
