This app has plenty of features, especially for rooted devices:

• Easiest uninstaller - single click on an app to uninstall it

Permissions explanations

• INSTALL_SHORTCUT - allows the app to create apps shortcuts, either manually or automatically (upon installation)
• KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES - allows the app to kill selected apps
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - allows the app to check if there is taken space on selected app, in order to allow to reclaim it
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - to clear the external storage of selected app
• ACCESS_SUPERUSER - for rooted devices only, allows many more cool features, for example background uninstallation
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE , INTERNET- for ads
• BILLING, GET_ACCOUNTS - for donations
• GET_PACKAGE_SIZE - for getting apps' sizes
• GET_TASKS , PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS - to get recently launched apps

Notes

• Uninstallation of system apps is a risky operation. I do not hold any responsibility in case the functionality of your OS is damaged in any way when using this feature
• Some system apps cannot be removed due to restrictions enforced by the ROM itself, but the app will try handling it the best it can, and sometimes a restart is needed to see the result
• You can remove the ads by donating as much as you wish
• I've worked for a long time on this app, and I have plenty of features I have in mind to add to it

I can not install .apk files anymore, I get a message saying Preparing to install, then get a error saying can not install.

Did you try with original app?

I have just install it from Google Play and it works 100% for me I can install apps. I could always install apps with your versions except the last version and this one.

Can you explain the steps to reproduce this issue? I am trying to install from tools - apk files but I am getting an error even on original app.

the 1st thing i do is allow the app to this app to install unknown apps.
2 = go to the Tool Menu then go down to "APK files" option that bring up a list of apk files if you have any on your phone,
then click on a APK file, it says Preparing to install then I get a error saying "Error Can't handle this file"

I am following the same steps but installation doesn't happen even on original app for me. Tried some very old version and was able to, so this is definitely the app issue. I am on Android 13 btw.

I try your versions App Manager v6.15 and 18 and I know they were working ok but are not now ?
I did do a Phone update about a week or 2 a go, I wonder if it got some thing to do (with third party apps).
but ShareMe app can install apk ok.. your app install Google Play apps ok.

Unless you can install every apk through Playstore version, there's no point in discussing this any further as reporting this to developer would be the better choice.

However if you are having this issue only on mod, send my a screenrecord of the issue and a working screenrecord of playstore version and I'll look into more. Also provide your device details as well as playstore/play services status.

The play store works ok. But I like your version way better.
Just can install apk like I said. I am using S21+ Android 13
