By chance is there something out there that's like this for modded versions of the apps?

I remember seeing such app here, few weeks ago. It was supposed to check custom websites for changes in apps versions (also modded), but I don't remember the name of app and if it actually works.

Btw, such apps would have to scrape the site and they would still not be able to automatically DL & update or to provide you direct DL links - keep that in mind.
