With Lucky Patcher, no chance. Correct. With modified Play Store - works like a charm. Tried all possible methods in LP, even removing some permissions without any chance of working. But it's still in the requirements, kiki35 wrote. So it's up to you to install the modified Play Store .

please, MickyFoley, can you give me some directions about that modified play store? is that some speciall store app or what?

User beware. After I activated the "SwapFile" option, my phone started rebooting like crazy on each load up until I clicked on this program in the taskbar and quickly unticked that option.

Guess your mileage may vary.

Can you elaborate, please?
I do not want to use the playstore approach, rather a local patch.
The MANUAL MODE of LuckyPatcher expects string replacements, what should I try, what object? What do you mean by 'N2'? I simulated a patch with an older working rev of Ramexpander and can't see the methods to use?!

And I'll try the "checker" but I've already uninstalled the app as it failed "Lucky Patch" - Auto Modes with a failed License and I couldn't understand the preceding post in this thread: LuckyPatcher works via Manual Patcher object N2!

1 step forward, 2 (actually: 200,000,000 steps) back:
I figured out the cryptic 'Manual N2' patch mentioned above:
There are TWO menu items named 'manual patch' in LuckyPatcher.
One in the main menu is about string replacements; it is wrong one.
The other is a WLAN supported patch mode for the removal of licence checks. It allows to select N2 as a patch object.

I applied this N2 patch method to the RAMexpander app, it checked and worked fine, until I rebooted. Now I ended up with a bricked, dead-looping smartphone!!

As Lazer9 describes the phone is going into an endless and fast reboot loop (less than 30sec, just splash screen).
In my case it is a rooted Huawei Ideos X3 (U8510) with Android 2.3.3 installed, standard ROM.

I managed to get into the CWM based recovery (5.0.2.7) but do not know what can be done beside a factory reset, i.e. losing all settings, all 350 installed/updated apps, system tweaks etc?

Is there any way to remove this deadly RAMexpander from the phone, e.g. remotely from a PC connection??
What a nightmare experience, after 18 months of phone tweaking I am about to lose the entire setup for good?
