Swavey why you put this module in xda developers if the dev said that he doesn't want people to post the patcher with other links??
if is not there is for a reason!!
Make sure it is enabled in Xposed and sometimes you have to toggle the option twice for it to take effect. I'm not sure why this happens.

Did you remember to "Install/Update" the Framework in Xposed...it's an easy mistake to make, too.
@gamer765
Dude you ROCK!!!
Everything is cherry for me so far. The Outside U. S. Patch is working like a charm!
Thanks for all the effort, mate. +1
Network dumps were useless, but I looked at desktop Pandora clients and found a clue. Now I just need a way to add the mp3 request.

Thanks for the hard work. I've been following this app since the beginning. This is not a request, just an idea; how does the country restriction work? if I wanted to use the pandora app to cast in my tv, the app would be telling the chromecast to retrieve the data from my non-us home router. So, the only way of making it work would be to run the router through a US vpn? or you think we could use the proxy in some setting in the router like the patcher does?
You'd have to use a US DNS or a VPN on the router. The patches however do not appear to work for the chromecast. I believe when you cast to the Chromecast, Pandora streams using the built in chrome backend and the app becomes nothing more than a glorified remote. If you cut off network connection or shut off your device, the Chromecast will keep playing music without the aid of the device which further proves my theory.
UPDATE: This documentation of the Pandora API is really helping. http://pan-do-ra-api.wikia.com/wiki/Json/5/station.getPlaylist

Look at this interesting link Pandora gave me...
Expect an MP3 update soon. There is a catch though, for now hopefully, music downloading will result in the 128kbps MP3, but Pandora will still play 64kbps aacplus (I think this is best to conserve bandwidth)

Thank you very much for this. For people who have unlimited data, is it possible to get a version that is better than 64kbps?gamer765 wrote:Look at this interesting link Pandora gave me...Expect an MP3 update soon. I don't know how i'd get Pandora to play the mp3 link since Pandora does not give it as a map like the aac+ mp4's

if i play pandora through dolphin browser, with desktop user agent set, and flash plugin always enabled, there's a setting that lets me get 192kbps mp3 streaming (i just got a free 1 year of pandora one), just like on my desktop computer. would there be a way to enable this stream in the app using the xposed pandora patcher?
also, you probably know this, but 64aac+ is comparable to a 128kbps mp3 (because mp3 is inherently lower quality). So unless we can get the 192 mp3 or at least a 160 mp3, it won't sound better than the 64kbps aac+ that's stock on the mobile app.

There is no way to get 192kbps mp3 with free accounts. I currently have my build taking the links and doing nothing with them besides outputting to logs. I need a reliable way of storing 4 URLs in an array and queuing the appropriate one for download. When Pandora requests a new playlist, it stores data for 4 songs. as far as playing the MP3s instead of the aac+ mp4s, I can attempt to replace the highquality link with the mp3 link and hope it plays. Pandora only supplies 128kbps and 192kbps (for Pandora One subscribers only) MP3s, nothing in between.
