Overview: Pandora Patcher has the ability to remove advertisements, skip limit restrictions, listening timeouts, and bypass the United States/Australia/New Zealand-only restriction in the Pandora application. Also adds extra features such as AVRCP for devices with non-working AVRCP, Tablet UI, the ability to download currently playing song. Now supports streaming and downloading 128kbps MP3s! I cannot do a non-root patch because I don't know how to write smali code. Also main reason I wouldn't do a non-root patch is because I'd need to redo the patch every single time an update is released. I prefer the root way because it's convenient for both me and the user.

i remember you were asking for ideas of what to add to the app. i had this idea since then: option to get rid of the splash screen altogether. Its like a separate activity.

Don't think I can do that since the splash screen is where the login stuff happens behind the scenes, including setting up the layout.

Hey everyone, there's a new Xposed module released by MohammadAG named 'Force Pandora Rich Notification'. I just thought I would mention it as it looks like it could be a pretty useful patch to the Pandora app.

I did not know Pandora had that! Guess I have to find where it's disabled and enable it!
In the meantime, it's probably best to use that module along with my module.

Finding where to enable it shouldn't be difficult since I believe that MohammadAG always releases the source code to his work on github with the exception of his paid-for packages. On a separate note I've been testing the module in conjunction with Pandora Patcher and I haven't seen any problems with compatibility.


It is definitely a very handy patch to have enabled! I wonder why it hasn't made it to prime time yet if ever...
