I personally apply the DNS to my computer and using a terminal I ping tuner.pandora.com and use whatever address it reports.

I use nslookup rather than ping as nslookup provides *all* entries for a domain rather than just the first entry. However, If a given domain has only one entry in the particular DNS that your querying then it would obviously make no difference which you use.

Interesting...

So just use this

1. http://www.kloth.net/services/nslookup.php

And plug in DNS address from here http://removeandreplace.com/2013/10/27/dns-codes-netflix-usa/

Kinda, you have the right idea. The work has already been done for you though. Just plug the IP address that gamer765 gave into Pandora Patcher then enable region bypass option and your done.

after installing pandora patcher and activate the modul via xposed my pad (asus me173x) completely freeze. 10min boottime, 2min to open an app etc. After uninstalling the patcher everything is fine.

Uhm.. Have you been using Xposed before?

Yes, xprivacy works without any problems.

IF not Xposed needs to be supported by the ROM to functiion properly. IF you answer is no, then you have to contact your ROM maker.

I'm on stock rom. It's a MTK based device. Mediatek do not provide kernel sources, right? So it is not the type of device for custom rom makers, i think.

IF your answer is yes. Then can you do this. Install Pandora, then wipe cache through recovery and try again. Meanwhile i will think other things. I am very sleepy. :(

Ok, i will try this.

btw.: Where can i find the boot log or other information the patch developer may need?

Best regards

sorry,Pandora not available in your country

tried enabling and disabling patch, when disabled message pops up immediately after 2 secs, when enabled splash screen goes through (and the tuner vversion shows) and the player seems to start then message pops up

Does your Asus Me have an intel processor?
Coz even i am having the same problem. I deactivated it in Xposed Module and then un-installed it and then installed the latest version. It installed with no problems.

Joke aside i think what you are looking for is a "download only with wi-fi" option. Not the same thing you want but getting a prompt everytime you wanna download can become very annoying very soon.

Exactly, looks like I overcomplicated things. Haha.

Is there a certain version of Pandora you need to be on? I'm on the most recent and so there were no ads, the One splash screen shows, but it wouldn't let me skip past 6 skips. I haven't tried downloading yet or hit a listen limit. Thank you for all of your hard work!

I initially tested that IP using a RU based VPN and it worked. However, I just tested it with a UK based VPN and it does not appear to be working anymore.

My suggestion to the people that need a region bypass is to use the US VPN provided by JustFreeVPN for the time being. However, only use them to bypass region restrictions. They state explicitly on their website that they cooperate with any and all requests made by law enforcement agencies. Therefore, you should expect zero anonimity while using any of their VPNs.

Hmm, something is wrong with tagging. Sometimes the tags and cover are from another song, but the filename is correct. Seems like this is happening around 25% of the time. :(

Is the song download completing after the song finished playing?

There are times I skip to the next song before the download completes. Oh wait, it's writing the tags after the download, that would make sense. I remember you saying something about it getting the cover and stuff from a cache. Would it be difficult to prevent it from skipping until it's done writing the tags?
