I can fix this. What I do is tag the song after it downloads. I forgot to take into account when its still downloading after song ends. I'll fix this ASAP.

There are times I skip to the next song before the download completes. Oh wait, it's writing the tags after the download, that would make sense. I remember you saying something about it getting the cover and stuff from a cache. Would it be difficult to prevent it from skipping until it's done writing the tags?

I second that about putting something to disable skip before song downloads. if you wait, the songs tag good with covers!!

What I'm doing to resolve this is instead of taking live art, artist, album, station values when tagging, I'm passing the values to the download request as temporary parameters (which retain their values even when the global values change) and using those temp values for tags.

Not sure if it's related but I've had 3 instances were file was labeled was something else while the song it played was different. (This was before any tags were added...I found this out as I was manually adding tags using musicxmatch app).

As a side note, I managed to fix the thumb up double download, so my next release should allow you to download from both within the app and from the Home screen widget/notification drawer.
If you have a Pebble, you can start a download by pressing thumb up on the Pebble Pandora app too.
