LOL, I'm glad you fixed your issue. Busy analyzing some other code for ideas on writing my own downloader to allow downloading wherever I want (such as ES Explorer does).

Sometimes songs downloaded using rich notification end up in complete different station folder with wrong tags/album art attached. Download directly in the app works perfectly.

There will be no 'patching' being done on Pandora's part unless they feel like breaking all current standalone applications (which would lose them customers out of frustration) and rewriting their entire API and backend to accommodate an increased reliance on server-side management of per-user permitions (which would cost them money)...

So when I change the save location to an external sd card and I try to save a song, I get a forced close. I changed it back to its default location and have no problem. Should I do a logcat? Anybody else have this problem?

u cant save location to an external sd on kk rom. use folder mount!

@benutne, I can't really do anything since the Android download manager recognizes the internal sdcard as the only valid location to download to. That's why downloading elsewhere throws a security exception. Blame google.
@Blue Fire, I don't do anything with the lock screen so I don't know why it's doing that.

What about what I said two post above them.. is that a possibility?

Can we change the way the song is downloaded? Instead of downloading only songs that gets a thumbs up, can we get an option to download all songs at end of playback, except those that gets a "thumbs down" or if the file already exists in the download folder?

I noticed that while on chromecast, it bypasses pandora patcher completely. Any way to fix this?
