crashes as soon as I open it... m not using any firewall and not even XPrivacy to block any permissions. Is there something you need to do before installing?

Are using Xposed? AFAIK android tuner need to be coupled with Xposed, and after u activated it in Xposed, you need to restart ur phone 1st.

This can't be the case as it is for 2.2 and up. Xposed is only 4.0 and up.

Then, maybe it is the su binary problem. I am using SuperSU 1.9x and just updated to 2.00. Try not granting root access to it, to see whether it is the su.
Try to install it in internal storage, maybe you have set the default install location to sdcard.
Works fine on JB 4.2.1, SuperSU 2.00, Xposed, PS mod.
