AdFree removes most ads in the browser and other apps. It does this by nullifying requests to known host names in the system hosts file.

If you have problems with this app, or you know of additional host names not being filtered, please comment in xda-developers.com forum so it can be fixed!

What's new in this:
0.9.0 Swapped webservers so hostnames "blocked" can be logged and shown in Adfree.
0.9.1 updated webserver config

This app has NO advertisements

malwarebytes detected it in routine scan


edit: never mind it turned out to be an exe file and not the apk. avoid the first link

try to uncheck "download with download manager" or similar boxes
Or use the real download button xD Just looked at the site, the small on the bottom is the right one
