System tune-up, optimization, tweaking

The latest version found on the first post gives me an Invalid Package, just as all versions since 3.4.3.

I have not tried the one which requires LP, but since 3.4.3 continues to be flawless for me, and without the added stuff, I'll just stick with that. I choose the older/easier method as the phone I need this for is old and it tends to be slow to install LP, run it, and tweak what I need.

Hi.. :) Try updating the LP app, to v3.4.6 first. Then download the link2sd v3.5 app. But, do not you first run the link2sd app. Next:
1. Run LP app, then tap link2sd visible in the list of apps LP.
2. Then you will find a menu "Open the patch", tap it.
3. Then select the "custom patch". Process and see if all the green writing then certainly your efforts successful. But if all the red writing, then there are two possibilities:

3a. Maybe code patches have been applied. Try running the link2sd app, see if the padlock icon still dancing? if still, go the next step:

3b. Maybe you need to perform the steps as described by (GL) JASI2169, Bellow. If successful, run link2sd again, see again if the lock icon is still dancing ballet? I Guess, No!! ;)

to make Link2SD v3.5 plus

install lucky patcher v4.3.6

go to SDCARD / luckypatcher / jasi2169_
com.buak.link2SD.txt

open it

you will see the first pattern

{"original": "?? ?? ?? ?? ?? 00 00 03 55 10 67
0F 00 00"}

Now, instead of 67 change to 71 like this:

{"original": "?? ?? ?? ?? ?? 00 00 03 55 10 71 0F
00 00"}

and save the text file

now use a custom patch on Link2SD v3.5 main
apk file, and you got plus
version

Good Luck. ;)

I had the same issue. I ended up uninstalling Link2SD, reinstalling it from the app store, then applied the modified patch from LP. That worked for me.

Hi, I've several times tried the method from you. I've been patching link2sd plus v1.0.6, through LP app, by using the selected pattern, and there is mentioned that, applications are patched only 28% successful. Then I try to download link2sd from PS. Aaand ... The padlock icon on the link2sd application still dancing on top of the status bar application. :roll: :cry: (GT-I9070 - CM11 ROM 4.4.3)

sorry for the late reply.. i dont know why it's not working for u.. but i'm using kitkat v4.4.2 and v4.4.4 .. all worked fine. yes,applications are patched only 28% successful. (do not lunch app plus key after patch)
did u used GP mod version? (needed) did u install link2sd from zip file or install from GP? (try both) till today have no issue received an update v3.5.1 and all worked.
