I agree. I gave up and purchased this, I mean for 1.99 who cares. Latest version has extra sliders as well. Worth it if you ask me. There are other apps out there that are over priced I would rather get form here, but you can't seem to get them anywhere.

same here, only app i purchased besides syncr wifi addon (which i returned for a refund)

My main regret with those lock apps is that they never completely get rid of the stock lockscreen. It leads to too many bugs for such an essential function...

Is it me or does my battery consumption go way up with widget locker installed? Anyone else notice their battery go down rather quickly?

Please fix the image and short the overview (or make into a single paragraph without skipping lines).

Get droidwall(free ) from the market and block widgetlocker. ;))

edit: turn off data connection/wifi and clear data/cache befor blocking

Thanks! this soluton works perfect, and i now have a new app (droidwall) that i love just as much.

To overview exactly what i did:

1. Download droidwall from market
2. Put Droid wall in blacklist mode by pressing "White List" at top of app screen
3. Find and check (block) widget locker for both wifi and data
4. goto manage application in the android settings
5. find widget locker and press "clear data" and "clear cache" (i also pressed force close, dont know if it matters)
6. Start widget locker back up and configure
7 away you go

I appreciate the help but you may wanna mention 2 more things....

1) you need root to run droidwall (you can download it without root but to successfully apply any of the programs settings, you will need root)

2) it may not be worth it if you're running on 2.2 bc widgetlocker still hasn't come up with a way to block the native android lock screen on 2.2. Thus, if you're someone who uses an unlock code or pattern, you will have to slide to unlock widgetlocker, then slide to unlock the native android screen and finally punch in your code or swipe your unlock pattern..... most people use their phone enough that this extra action not only becomes extremely tedious, it also adds a significant amount of time....

This will only work for a few days. You'll get the piracy messages soon. I think it's communicating through the Market app which you need to allow access to the internet if you want to use it.

I used a hacked version to try it out, then purchased it.. its really super cheap compared to how much use I get out of it...

Thanks for the feed back, im not sure but i suspect that homehelper might be the cause of the piracy message appearing after a few days, let me clarify what i did, and how my phone is configured, just so others can test...

N1/Rooted/Froyo2.2.1/Cyanogen 6.1.0RC1

Requires Root!

1. Download and install droidwall (needs root) from market (free)...
--A. Put droidwall in blacklist mode by pressing "White List" at top of app screen
--B. Find and check (block) widget locker for both wifi and cell data
2. Goto "manage applications" in the android settings...
--A. Find widget locker and press "clear data" and "clear cache" (i also pressed force close, dont know if it matters)
3. Start widget locker back up and configure...
--A. Configure "Behavior" >> "Select System Home" and select your real home app (not home helper)
--B. Configure "Advanced" and check "Root bypass of five second rule"
4. Away you go

Everything else i tried failed, within 24 hours, this hasnt, its only been a couple days soo ill keep this updated, but something i did is working when nothing else did.
