Overview: Beautiful Widgets is a set of widgets that run on the mobile Android platform.
Features:
- Nice looking clock with 12/24 hours support
- Multiple layouts and skins support
- Weather with realistic icons
- Celcius and fahrenheit temperature
- Automatic language detection
- Geolocation for the weather city, or the ability to enter the city name
- Automatic sunset/sunrise calculation
- High res graphics for WVGA Devices (such as the Motorola Droid or Nexus One)
- 1x1 beautiful Wifi/Bluetooth/Plane mode/Silent/Vibrate widgets to easily enable or disable them
- 1x1 GPS widget that act as shortcut to enable or disable location in the settings.
3.2 - 28th October 2010
- Rewrote the small toggle widgets into one widget, where you can choose the function. Please note that you will need to remove all the old widgets and replace them on the home screen.
- Toggle widgets can be skinned
- Toggle widgets can have their labels hidden
- Added a Mobile data widget toggle. This change the APN in order to deactivate the data (only known method to work)
- Added a 4G toggle widget for HTC Devices *only*
- Added a Weather 1x1 widget
- Fix a few bugs that made the settings confused between the choices of Google or Accuweather for the weather.
- Fix a bug with ANR when the phone is unlocked
- Fix a bug with weather refresh on unlock using Google weather (the accuweather values were used)
- Fix layouts for ldpi devices as well as landscape with the weather widget 1x4
- Workaround for the wrong graphics being used on widgets after an update from the market with new resources in the package
IMPORTANT: REMOVE AND RE-ADD THE WIDGETS IF YOU GET GRAPHIC BUGS, OR CLOCK ISSUE AFTER UPDATE
