WidgetLocker Lockscreen 2.0 RC2
Requirements: Android
Overview: WidgetLocker is a lock screen replacement that puts you in control of the look, feel and layout of your lock screen.

ImageImage

- Drag and Drop placement of Sliders, Android Widgets and App Shortcuts
- Sliders look selectable from built-in styles (Android, Sense, Motorola 2.2, iPhone, and Android 2.0 Rotary) or from user-themes.
- Slider Actions can be customized, for example Slide-to-launch-Camera or Slide-to-call-your-Girlfriend.
- Resizable widgets and custom grid size
- Notification badges on apps/sliders via ADWNotifier ( http://t.co/LDKMQii )
- Customize which widgets/buttons are allowed or blocked at the lock screen
- Optional Easy Wake Mode, allows all hardware buttons to wake, rather than just the power button (Does not work on all phones)

Portions of WidgetLocker are based on the excellent ADW.Launcher ( http://t.co/YvVMkGc ) by Ander Webb and friends.

The Nexus One Gingerbread OTA has broken Trackball wake w/ Easy Wake Mode . Volume buttons still work. This is unrelated to WL 2.0. I'm aware of the issue and looking into it.

I installed it last night and have had no problems. Got a theme from xda and no license issues for me. Nice release.

I'm seriously so pumped to try this. I've been waiting forever for widgetlocker to be updated AND for it to be cracked! I really hope I don't get that notification! I'll report back :)

Thanks, it worked fine.

I found to stop it ringing home and getting the 5 second delay on older versions, and other error messages is to use Droid Wall and block it's internet access so it can't phone home.

Thanks for the tip about droidwall. I'll def give it a shot. Just an fyi for other users, droidwall is a free app in the market but it requires root. Also, you'll probably want to install droidwall prior to installing widgetlocker. I suggest putting the phone in airplane mode, install widgetlocker, block it in droidwall and then turn airplane mode off. This should disable it from ever accessing the internet.
