HTC Magic froze during the mod and won't boot.
Had to use the RUU to get it back.

I'm using Froyo 2.2, (stock i think) and I need help recovering back. I hate to loose my data. Please somebody PM me if they know how to.

I did not back up or anything, and don't have the back up manager. Please PM if somebody knows a way on how to restore it. My phone is Samsung Captivate.

You will at the very least need root.

samsung galaxy s, same prob.
didnt backup or installed custom rom... but i am rooted.
any suggestions other than installing a new rom (which i was planning on anyway. but not now)?

I've just registered on this site to warn people also, it messed my galaxy s i9000 up, just be careful with this and back everything up before tinkering with this.
