I have never tried this or any version of it (including other apps that seem to just be rebranded versions of this one) and had it work, and this is one of the more dangerous apps one can install if it's buggy because it locks your phone from the get-go. Fortunately, it is...up until now, at least...very easy to circumvent by simply installing in safe mode. But this means that even if this app did work, it would be totally ineffective. And if the developers ever beefed up this part of the app so it couldn't be disabled by simply booting into safe mode and then it was still buggy, you'd be majorly screwed.

My advice is to stay FAR AWAY from this app and all like it.

If you go to the Play store and look at the gesture lock apps, many of them look suspiciously similar. I suspect they are mostly the same app, reskinned and rebranded, to broaden their marketing footprint.

Just dangerous for a layman, and useless as (spiderhole) already wrote.
