I tested and yes all the ads are gone but seems that the notifications function is some how broken.. I tested it comparing with the Playstore version and there it works.
Test it please with a simple text msg.. The screen turns on(even with the option disable - bug exists in the Playstore version too) but no notification on screen.
Maybe a part of what is removed is necessary for it...?
Testing with Facebook messenger the notifications stay on screen and the buttons clear and open of the locker work bad..
None of the above issues exist with the original version...
