Do not use any "Kill processes" or "Release memory" app to kill the XWidget's process , Doing this will cause the clock widgets stop update. Or You can add XWidget to the ignore list .
If your clock/weather widget stop update, please allow XWidget Auto-Start in Android Settings>Permissions

I don't know how many people will read this but I will speak as part of the XWidget dev team, because I have the possibility to check and reply to the user's comments on Playstore for the Free and Pro version through PlayConsole.
1) How it's possible that there are so many people who report that there are not free widgets or they can't download anything using the free!?
From the v1.3.5 we have changed the download system providing a new gallery FREE mode where the users can download more than 100 widgets for FREE. On the last version we also added the new SHORT option to make it even more easier to find the free widgets (option that shows only the free ones without the need to scroll down the entire gallery)
At this point sorry but OR the people are blind OR are too lazy to search the options OR are stupid..
2) I know that free stuff is better for everyone but people need to understand that every development requires services and servers that are necessary to run the project and this require money! The Dev couldn't continue to offer XWidget for free. The donation system is limited nowadays (he received only 20$ for a year!) and the ad-banners can easily be removed on phones and actually they don't provide anything..
So I'm mad with selfish people who vote low only because the Dev can't offer the app for free anymore. An app that in a while will offer more than 2000 widgets, with more features that will be added every month and the possibilty to create your own widget using the XDesigner for PC or Android without any limitation.
The accuweather service and the proper servers that provide good speeds are NOT free. The Pro version was the only way to keep XWidget alive or shutdown the project completely. So the users want a dead project with no updates, no new widgets or have a paid version that will continue to grow provide more cool stuff to them!? Really I don't understand people's mind..
3) All the similar customization/widget apps like Zooper, UCCW and many Weather apps are all PAID and they cost more than XWidget. So why only XWidget is bad now? Why people don't want or can't understand the reality?! XWidget is one of its kind because comes from a pc software, it's not a simple Android app and all the features are ported from there. I know that the app needs optimization and there are bugs but the Android OS is open source and there are so many versions, updates and phones out there that it's difficult to have an app that runs perfectly for all.
4) At the end I only want to suggest to SEARCH before make false, irrelevant and bad reports on playstore! Behind XWidget there are not only hours but years of work and it's bad and rude to report for silly reasons. Please respect all the work behind and try to help with your comments not only criticise. Spend time to open the menus and options AND if you need help or clarifications just ask through Playstore or better through XWidget's forum http://bbs.xwidget.com/
DO NOT VOTE bad only because you don't understand how the things work or because there is the pro version!

Checking the FAQ the users can discover how to change the language.
The widgets are created in English by default because there are fonts that are not shown properly to all the languages. So I prefer to create them like this, to avaoid visual problems and cut-off texts, and then the user is free to change it in a min.
About the second weather provider, we're working on it, but the problem is purely practical. AccuWeather server and the weather services in general have their own 'codes' to visualize the weather icons. So changing the provider the icons will be broken and messed up with the weather conditions. Check here what I mean

AccuWeather is one of the best weather providers worldwide but I can understand your request.

We plan to update the app every month, fix as more bugs as possible and provide more features and variety of the widgets. We're working on the support for calendar widgets, a new mode for show/hide layers that will give the possibility to show/hide more elements on screen with touch or 'right click' options, secondary look for the weather details screen-live weather backgrounds that will change according the conditions and maybe selection for a secondary type of the weather icons there.

Another great feature in my opinion would be the ability to change weather information during the day in widget even if not updated. By time or sth like that.

You mean to have something like hourly weather info..?
All depends on the codes available for each weather provider. AccuWeather supports info for the conditions during the day/night and we have it in our to do list.

We have also added the 'more detailed weather' screen (pro version) when touch on the today's and next days weather info.
Keep in mind that all the weather widgets to keep the info updated and accurate need internet access. If not they display 'old data' and this is not good.
Xwidget weather widgets are updated in 3 ways-
- Manually
- Automatically during the internet/data activation
- Automatically according the server refresh time applied
(In the FAQ says how to check it)

If we receive pms from the devs for copyright infringement or if they ask to support and protect their work from sharing then we have to respect it! XWidget comes from a single Dev and not from big companies. The pro version was the only way for him to continue the development, to pay the app's services and servers, or shutdown the project. So please respect it and chill out. After all, no one force you to buy anything xtreme265..
