Same thing in my Galaxy S 2 Wifi. Battery draining fast and eat more than 100MB of my precious RAM. Hopefully SPB can do something on this issue.

Without rooting your device you will not be able to use the "patch" created by Chelpus nor is it possible to "freeze" market using titanium backup pro !!

Even if you purchase it, it saves the prefs to a system folder, so if you change roms of fact/sys reset, you will have to reinstall.

Okay whats up with the installer? It installs successfully but theres no Open option andoesn't give me a shortcut either...

Thanks! .. working well here on San Francisco (ZTE Blade) , although I used the Chelpus (sp?) activator!
It was actually on the phone when I bought it 2nd hand (and it was the paid for version) , but I flashed a new ROM and lost it!

For those having battery issues , try out DX Battery Booster (v 1.3.9) , free from the market! .. seems to work pretty well!
For some odd reason there's two versions of this , but 1.3.9 is the latest.

Installed and used the Lucky patcher that was included, still get the black screen issue with my Advent Vega running Vegacomb (Android 3.2) so uninstalled and used the latest lucky patcher and 'removed the licence verification' but still get the same issue. Its works fine but then if you access Google play or reboot the screen is just black

Shame as it looks great on my Tab. Works fine on my San Fran though :-/
