Samsung Multi Window Manager Pro v1.3.1
Requirements: 4.1 and up
Overview: Samsung has added a new multi window feature to a few of their Jelly Bean devices.

However...there is only a limited set of apps compatible with this new feature.

Using this Multi Window Manager, you can enable ANY app to take advantage of this awesome new feature.

This app is now compatible with the following Samsung Galaxy devices:
S3
Note
Note II
Note 10.1

Check out the Pro version for these additional features:
- Create shortcuts on your homescreen to open apps or web bookmarks in windowed mode
- Specify custom window sizes for shortcuts (Note 10.1 tablet only)
- Open multiple instances of some apps (This is limited by whether or not a particular app permits multiple instances...I've yet to find an internet browser that allows this, however there are many other useful apps that do allow it)
- Fast reboot...cuts reboot time to less than half that of a normal reboot
- Detect new app installs and prompt to enable multi window
- Backup and restore your enabled apps list

HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THE VIDEO TO SEE HOW TO USE THIS
THIS APP REQUIRES JB 4.1.2 & ROOT ACCESS

What's in this version:
1.3.1
- Phones (Note, Note 2, GS3) can now apply settings without reboot (Pro) (Requires Busybox)

This app has NO advertisements

Does it work on Modded ROMS? like CyanogenMod? Or do you need to have TouchWiz.

you'll need Samsung framework which is not present in CM, AOKP or PA roms, only TouchWiz.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like I'll have to wait for something like this for AKOP, CM & PA

Just some feedback regarding using this on SGS3 (rooted with stock JB 4.1.2) ...

It works ... but not as shown in the video on google play.

You don't get windows as on a tablet, you get a splitted screen to use 2 apps at the same time. The app make it possible to add all your apps to the side list, but the problem is ... not all apps allow itself to be shown on only half screen. When you try to add them the non compatible apps are shown on the full screen size and hides the other app.

Also ... when you install Samsung Multi Window Manager Pro v1.3.1 to an SGS3 you are promted to download a patch for the side list, if you want to uninstall you have the choice to depatch.

So in other words ... not fully functional on a SGS3 compered to a tablet.

Sure it is, you just need to know how the multi window mod works, you can't blame the mod if an app itself doesn't allow Samsungs Multi Window, that's up to the dev to update the app. This is a simple mod that forces flashbar to display all apps in the edit list, it doesn't make all apps instantly work with flashbar

Well ...

First, didn't blame anyone.

Second, just stated that it works differently on a SGS3 than a tablet ... It's somewhat misleading in google play which states SGS3 compability and then only shows a tablet in the video.

And Third, it's not obvious that not all apps can be used in a split screen.

That's it :)
