Notepad (Text Editor) v1.5 (freeware)
Requirements: Windows Mobile Pocket PC 5 , 6 , 6.1
Overview: his is a simple text editor for Windows Mobile. It allows you to open text (and other text based) files.

* Reduced executable size.

* Supports cut/copy/paste by right click
Text input area resize as-per SIP (virtual keyboard) space.

Huh? Because the one that comes with WM is nonexistent? Unless you mean Pocket Word, which is by no means a Notepad. How do you plan on editing for instance INI files on your device without an app like this? I guess you don't. If you don't need it, fine, but don't knock a nice piece of software because of ignorance. For many users (myself included) a simple bare text editor is pure bliss.

yeah, for me too :D tho i much more like browsing with total commander, and then editing the files within tc, its even better 8)

calm down sir I didn't mean to knock anyone or anything for sure not someone's hard work!!
just trying to understand what it adds over the program that comes with WM called "notes", can you answer that?

I'm pretty calm, but thanks for your concern.
Assuming you're asking a serious question and not being a troll, here's the lowdown: Notes can only edit files with PWI extension, while a simple text editor (such as Notepad) can edit any text file (TXT, INI, INF, you name it). It probably is of no use for people that do not "play" with their devices. However, for tweakers, modders and people that want to get the most out of their device, it's almost a god-send.
